Thali Cafe

Inspired by our travels to India and unimpressed by the anglicised versions of Indian food we found in restaurants on our return we decided to introduce the UK to authentic Indian street food.

Our first customers were hungry festival-goers in the muddy fields of Summer music festivals like Glastonbury, the Big Chill and Shambala Festival. The feedback was so good that a year later we decided to open the first permanent Thali Cafe in Bristol.

We have since opened three more restaurants in Bristol and each time we’ve shunned mainstream locations in favour of areas that have a strong sense of community where we can form relationships with local people and businesses.

Every summer we still take to the road for the festival season and continually looking to collaborate with new and exciting partners.
