piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued until he was18 years old. At 14 he played his first paid job , a

wedding at the Railroad Station. His pay was a pass the hat collection of $6.38 which he promptly gave to

his mother to help provide for their family during the Great Depression. Al has shared his musical

abilities with the Civic Theater and Bristol Eastern High School as well as many concert and charitable

benefit performances. For 4 months of the year Al vacations in Florida. He plays piano at a club at Forest

City in Naples. Bristol’s Al Caruso is a rare vintage with great rhythm.
