We look forward to Julie playing in future tournaments. Please note that we agreed to change the date of our Christmas Tournament in December to the 8 th December, due to some other events happening at Kallangur. I will be letting everyone know about that when I finalise the flyer that is almost complete. The proposed Calendar of Events is all but complete and we are just sorting out the final bits and pieces. Our new website is underway and is at the Design stage at this time. I am starting to populate the information into it. Shirts whilst on hold at the moment are moving forward. I am in the process of trying for a Sponsorship deal for shirts with Flight Centre, but this won’t be finalised until December, so we have decided to wait to see if they will do so. I am currently working on a new sponsorship deal with TravelScoot Australia. I will let you know more about this one as it comes to fruition. Have a great week of bowls and I look forward to seeing many of you on the Greens at Aspley on Sunday November 17th. I would like to welcome a new member who joined us

ASPLEY TOURNAMENT IS NEXT
Our focus will now turn to our next tournament to be
held at Aspley Bowls Club on Sunday 17th November.

We now have the opportunity to put our upcoming
events onto the SE Qld Bowls Event Facebook Page. I
believe this to be yet another opportunity to promote
Brisbane Northside Arm Bowls Association Inc.
I have been putting our flyers up there now for a while
and it is getting some enquiry.

EVENTS and check it out.
And it is open to all Clubs to put up their events so, let
your Club Secretaries know about it. It is FREE!!

As you would be aware we are losing our webpage in
December 2019, so, our new website is underway and
we are currently in the Development stage.
The design work is coming along and I am in the process
of populating information into the site.
We are hopeful of having this live by the end of
November 2019.
In the meantime, we will continue to use the Armed
Bowlers Australia website.

If you are an Arm Bowler and would like to support
Brisbane Northside Arm Bowlers Association Inc,
Membership is only $20 per year to do so, so please

Benefits of joining our Association is the first
preference to play in our Tournaments, a lot of
information about what we do only goes out to
members and only members have voting rights to have
input into our future direction.
There is also free coaching available on game days, by
appointment and you will get to meet and learn from a
whole range of Arm Bowlers at various levels of the
game.
We also have a few Bowling Arms that can be loaned
to our Financial Members to try.
We are also fighting the battle to have a fairer
arrangement for selection of State players for the
future and to have a truly National Competition in the
future.
Membership is also open to non-arm bowlers to
become Associate Members of Brisbane Northside

policy if you elect to play in our tournaments.
You do not have to be a member of a Brisbane
Northside Club to play in our tournaments, but you do
need to be a financial member of a Bowls Australia
recognised Bowls Club. So we are open to all Arm
Bowlers to join us, however, our members have first
preference.
We welcome all levels of players and look forward to
meeting you on the Greens on the Northside of
Brisbane.
