VenView System VenView System AdvantagesAdvantages

VenView System VenView System AdvantagesAdvantages

• Comprehensive plethysmographic evaluation for venous obstruction, incompetence, and calf ejection fraction.

• Complete bilateral evaluation time < 20 minutes.– 5 minutes explanation and pre-test set-up,– 5-10 minutes for bilateral obstruction, incompetence, and calf ejection studies

collectively,– 5 minute post test removal and print report

• Once patient and cuffs are positioned- the testing is “Hands-Off”, simply follow computer prompts.

• Detailed hemodynamic values, tracings, and graphs are displayed on two page report.

• Examination chair can also be configured as bed.• Unobstructed access to the popliteal area.

About VenViewAbout VenViewAbout VenViewAbout VenView

• VenView is a non-invasive pneumatic venous plethysmography device.• The VenView system provides accurate quantitative studies due to a flow meter that measures air placed inside

sensing cuff. • With a limb circumference measurement and automated measured sensing cuff volumes, the VenView system is able

to calculate volume/pressure relationships. • Volume measurements are reported as ml/100ml (individual leg volume correction)

IndicationsIndicationsIndicationsIndications

• Venous disease such as venous thrombosis, venous incompetence (deep, superficial, perforator) and poor venous calf ejection fraction may present as varicose veins, edema, stasis, and ulceration of the lower extremities.

• Deep venous thrombosis: outflow study• Venous incompetence: dependent refill study• Venous calf ejection fraction: exercise refill study

VenView specifically addresses each parameter of venous disease:

Sensing cuffs

Sensing cuffs are inflated with air to 6 – 7 mmHg

The amount of air is measured as it inflates the cuff which

provides a pressure/volume relationship to base calculations
