Kipco-Damaco was founded in

the early 1960’s when a local

craftsman started his own turkey

slaughterhouse in West-Flanders,

a region well-known in Belgium for

its hard-working mentality

and spirit.

Soon the company grew and the new innovative idea emerged to start producing Mechanically Deboned poultry Meat under the name of KIPCO-DAMACO. This new direction brought opportunities for exports, within EU and a little later outside the EU as well.

Today the Damaco Group has different offices spread out globally to cover the more than 100 export markets. Deboned poultry meat for the processing industry remains the core business and represents 60% of the overall volume.

Retail and wholesale of poultry, pork, beef, French fries and vegetables were integrated in the daily operations of the Damaco Group and gained a strong position in the activities of the group. Interesting fact; the company is still run by the family of the craftsman that originally started the business.

BaaderWhat about Damaco baader in your products? If you want to add more texture than this is the type of meat that you are looking for! A 4-5 mm structure will allow you to produce the bite you need. When talking about medium to big structure products types such as meatballs, hamburgers and medium fine sausages. Cooking to boost the taste or improve the binding of your product? Turkey or chicken skin is rich on proteins and collagene that helps to upgrade the binding of your prod-uct. An additional advantage is the amazing taste that skin brings along in your receipt. On top of this, when working with high valued raw materials this 100% natural product will drive your cost down.

Mechanically Deboned Meat has a texture of 2 to 3 mm and is suitable for fine emulations applications such as frankfurter, mortadella’s, nuggets and canned or luncheon meat. Damaco Group produces Turkey and Chicken MDM, which can be used in any above application.

Our Soft-Method production process guarantees the protein level and structure that is important for the binding and water observation of your end product. Our MDM can be used as sole basic ingredient or to mix up with other types of Damaco products, such as baader meat. Call us for additional advice, we are ready to serve you!
