This year we are gifting 18 raised garden

beds to families to grow their own produce!

Remaining beds will be planted for all 27J

community families to harvest and share!

27 J Community Garden Additional Information

Beds and seeds will be assigned on Planting Day--Monday, May 20th from 2-4pm. You MUST be present to be assigned your bed and seeds. Beds will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Families that are assigned a bed are expected to: -- complete and sign the 27J Community Garden Policies and Expectations for respectful gardening. --Bringing their own equipment (shovels, gloves, etc) --maintaining their bed throughout the growing season, including weeding and harvesting. (Disposal services available.) Beds are watered automatically with a sprinkler system. Garden will be open to public for volunteering and community service hours weekly on Mondays and Thursday from 9-11 AM, from June to September. Volunteers who attend may keep a portion of what is grown in the shared beds. A Certified Master Gardener will come visit to answer questions and give advice on Planting Day-May 20th, June 17th and July 22nd from 9-11 AM. Want to Sign Up for Planting Day?
