To establish a relationship between the frequency, velocity and wavelength of waves and their caustic networks, and whether depth affects the projection of caustic networks.
Aim
Variables Depth of water, frequency of waves,
wavelength of waves, velocity of waves.

The velocity of the waves will stay the same regardless of frequency and depth and the wavelength becomes smaller as the frequency becomes larger.

Major source of error: reliability of the viabrator’s frequency reading.

the depth had a major affect on the caustic networks; the distance between the light and dark areas increased with the depth of water.
An improvement to the experiment that could be made is to test more depths to establish a concrete equation for the coefficient-depth relation.
