From Fabric A, fussy cut: four 10-1/2” pink squares four 10-1/2” purple squares four 10-1/2” green squares four 10-1/2” blue squaresCut each square in have along the diagonal shown.
Cutting Instructions
From Fabric B, cut:two 10-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: six 10-1/2” squares. Cut each square in half along one diagonal.
From Fabric C, cut:two 10-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eight 10-1/2” squares. Cut each square in half along one diagonal.
From Fabric D, cut:two 10-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: six 10-1/2” squares. Cut each square in half along one diagonal.
From the Binding Fabric, cut:six 2-1/2” x WOF strips

Step 1: Arrange one Fabric A pink triangle and one Fabric A purple triangle to form a pair, taking care to orient the fabric as shown in the example here. Sew together and press toward the darker fabric.
Assemble the Half-Square Triangles (HSTs)
Step 2: Repeat to make a second pink/purple HST, but note how the fabric placement/orientation is different for this unit.
Step 3: Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to make two green/blue HSTs, noting how the fabric placement/orientation is different for the two units.
Step 4: Arrange one Fabric A blue triangle and one Fabric B triangle to form a pair. Sew together and press toward the darker fabric. Repeat to make:

one blue A/B HSTs
two green A/B HSTs
one green A/B HSTs
two pink A/B HSTs
one pink A/B HSTs
two purple A/B HSTs

Step 5: Arrange one Fabric A blue triangle and one Fabric D triangle to form a pair. Sew together and press toward the darker fabric. Repeat to make:

Step 6: Arrange one Fabric A blue triangle and one Fabric C triangle to form a pair. Sew together and press toward the darker fabric. Repeat to make:
Step 7: Arrange one Fabric C triangle and one Fabric D triangle to form a pair. Sew together and press toward the darker fabric. Repeat to make eight C/D HSTs.
Note: All completed HSTs should be trimmed to 10” square.

Assemble the Quilt
Step 8: Arrange the blocks into six rows of six blocks. Note the fabric placement and block orientation in the Quilt Assembly Diagram.
Step 9: Sew the blocks together to form rows. Press the rows to the left in the odd numbered rows and to the right in the even numbered rows.
Step 10: Sew the rows together to form the quilt center. Press the row seams open.
Your quilt top is complete! Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
