AWARD-WINNING PURPOSE-BUILT ENVIRONMENT
About usVictoria Playpark (VPP) is a professional early childhood development centre affiliated with Victoria Educational Organisation that offers infant and toddler
playgroups in English, Putonghua and Cantonese. Our purpose-built environment,
play-based curriculum and expert parenting approach support children to become curious, confident and well-balanced learners.
Victoria Playpark is committed to promoting the holistic development of infants and toddlers (aged 8-36 months), and to ensuring their smooth transition
to pre-nursery education. VPP’s programmes are designed to stimulate children’s curiosity about the world as well as to nurture characteristics
that are key to their development into passionate lifelong learners.
Environment Inspired, Play-Based Curriculum
Victoria Playpark offers children aged 8 to 36 months a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters whole-person growth through encouraging children to learn by doing and by interacting with their peers.
Playpark Filled with Themed Activities
Our themed playpark activities offer a unique opportunity for both independent and collaborative learning. Children will first participate in whole-class theme-related activities, and then explore different parts of the park area on their own or with their peers.
Six Learning Stations
Our six diverse learning stations broaden young children’s horizons, allowing them to discover their talent for art, music and cooking while developing their sensory and physical skills. Each learning station is equipped with age-appropriate tools and props for children to experiment with.
Our 5 Approaches & 3 Learning Goals Our 5 Approaches & 3 Learning Goals Our 5 Approaches & 3 Learning Goals
Gateway to Trilingualism
Our playgroup programmes promote multilingualism by exposing children to the wonders of storytelling, rhymes, games, music, multisensory play and social interaction in three languages: English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
3 Focused Learning Goals
We focus on three main learning goals for our young learners: I CAN SPEAK (communication skills); I CAN FEEL, AND I CARE (socio-emotional skills); I CAN EXPLORE (physical development and exposure to sensory experiences).
Parent Engagement
We highly value parental engagement and involvement, and offer parenting workshops and seminars delivered by early childhood experts. We also offer a variety of family-centred events such as Expert Talks and Playtime parent-child sessions.
Our ProgrammesOur ProgrammesOur Programmes
Infant 8-12 months Infants will develop concepts about themselves, their immediate surroundings and the people around them through partaking in a variety of play-based activities. Sensory
stimulation is particularly emphasized in this programme. Infants will explore a range of materials, textures, sounds and smells using their five senses. Our teachers will also offer important parenting tips and suggestions which can be incorporated into parent-child activities at home.
Toddler 12-24 months Toddlers will be introduced to theme-based activities
that take place in our six learning stations. Through these activities, children will learn to associate a particular theme with specific objects, people, and events, enabling them to form connections. Our programme will encourage toddlers
to learn skills beneficial for this age group through play-based activities such as symbolic role play using
different objects, gross motor skills and fine motor skills.
Big Kid 24-36 months Big Kids will be introduced to more advanced theme-based
activities in our six learning stations. Besides learning to make connections amongst objects, people and events, children will be guided to use language to describe these connections, and to express their ideas and feelings during the learning activities. To prepare children for a smooth transition into prenursery or kindergarten education, a particular emphasis will be given to children’s self-care, emotional regulation and social skills.
