Introducing an exciting new creative hub in Newcastle’s city centre. Bridge + Tunnel Studios is a multi-purpose space ideal for exhibitions, workshops, and meetings. It is available for short-term or longer fixed rentals at Curtis Mayfield House, Carliol Square, Newcastle upon Tyne. Situated on Floor 4 of Curtis Mayfield House, home of World Headquarters, Bridge + Tunnel Studios offers a secure, clean and affordable space that will act as a blank canvas for your creative work. We aim to provide a diverse arts community with a new opportunity to enhance the city centre’s cultural status and provide a foothold for creatives looking for a short-term, flexible lease.

Bridge + Tunnel Studios is comprised of The Gallery, The Meeting Space and The Caravan. All three are available for short or longer-term hire, separately or together. Be part of a creative community!

Bridge + Tunnel Studios is situated in the heart of Newcastle’s city centre, close to the Laing Art Gallery, Theatre Royal and the Tyneside Cinema. Being in the city centre, we are serviced by most bus routes and the Metro. The train and coach stations are also within easy walking distance.

The Caravan is a self-contained office space available to rent in Bridge + Tunnel Studios. Situated on the fourth floor of Curtis Mayfield House, Carliol Square, home of World Headquarters, The Caravan is in the very heart of the city. Bridge + Tunnel Studios is also home to its film production office, education charity and a new exhibition and event space.

The Caravan is available to rent at reasonable rates,

for short-term or long-term rental.

At 360ft2 (approx) and with secure 24-hour access, The Caravan is perfect for those working in the film, design and arts industries who may need a temporary production office or for a small creative organisation that needs an operational home! Rent is £400per month(includes Council Rates) plus electricity.

The Gallery and The Meeting Space are also available to hire for exhibitions, meetings, staff get-togethers, auditions and workshops. Bridge + Tunnel Studios is an ideal venue for your creative needs – we can also arrange catering and offer other production services as needed (including video documentation).
