PROJECTS | INVITATION

I designed this invitation for an event I

created, StacheBash, a “white collar fight

night” involving two of my favorite things:

whiskey and cigars. The ambiguous title

and cover was a means of masking the true

nature of the event, which is revealed as you

unfold the accordion structure. To add to the

mystery, I also included a hidden pocket for

the RSVP.

PROJECTS | BOOK COVER

Fight Club is one of my favorite books (and

films). I designed this cover spread with the

intention of capturing the dynamism that the

title suggests - I wanted the fist to appear as

though it were punching through the type,

making it splatter across the binding.

PROJECTS | RE-BRANDING

I chose to re-brand TiVo’s currently childish

identity into one that better suited a

technological corporation, aiming for

something sleek and clean. I designed an

entire style guide, stationery system, and

corporate brochure.

PROJECTS | VISUAL IPOD

For this project I had to choose a song

and create a physical representation that

reflected the emotive content of the music.

I selected “Derezzed” by Daft Punk, and

used laser cut acrylic to encapsulate their

electronic feel. The top layer rotates to reveal

the subsequent pieces, that are each cut

into different designs intended to embody

the various instruments. The overall form is a

simplified turntable.

PROJECTS | POSTER SERIES

Here I had to design two posters - one to

advertise a concert and one to inform on a

social or environmental cause. The catch,

however, was that they must both adhere to

the same aesthetic.
