Named all the plants and animals. Nanabush is considered to be the founder of

Midewiwin. Thought to be the inventor of fishing and hieroglyphs. Is a shape-shifter and a co-creator of the world.

Hunted: pretty much all the animals in the

area they hunted and would either cook or smoke to eat Includes deer, moose, bear, rabbit etc.

Gathered: fruits, nuts, roots and wild rice They cultivated some foods aswell

This would include squash, beans, corn and sometimes tobacco

Ate pemmican: mix of berries, grease and animal meat (could be preserved for years)
