The beauty of evaporative cooling is its simplicity. Its a process

thats been used throughout history thousands of years ago, the

Arabs hung wet blankets in the entrances to their tents, while the

Greeks placed terracotta pots filled with water in their doorways.

Think about how much cooler it is at the beach on a hot summer

day. Why? Evaporation! Whenever water and hot air come into

contact, the water evaporates, cooling the surrounding air by

several degrees in the process.

Evaporative air conditioning takes advantage of this natural

process. Each Breezair cooler contains large cooling pads,

which are soaked with water. Hot ambient (outside) air is drawn

through the cooler with a quiet but powerful fan.

As the hot air passes through the wet pads, the water absorbs

some of the heat as it evaporates. The beautifully cooled, fresh

air is then delivered into the building.

Natural evaporation cools the air, while the pads filter out dust,

pollen and other contaminants. The result: cooler, cleaner fresher

air, without using fluorocarbons or potentially toxic chemicals.

Using natures way of cooling, evaporation, the TBA

delivers fresh, cool air... and lots of it! At the push of

a button, you can enjoy a natural cool change whenever

you want. Fresh, filtered, cool air flows freely through

the building and, unlike a refrigerated or reverse-cycle

system, you can keep doors and windows open.

Clever use of injection molding technology means fewerparts both functional and aesthetic parts are combinedin single moldings that provide efficient function. Theoverall design concept and some innovations within theTBA have been registered and patented internationally.

Two-way digital controls have pushed through the boundariesof old evaporative air conditioning control systems to providethe best comfort monitoring and deviation correction seenin the industry, plus rapid diagnosis and memorizing of faultconditions. The TBA 450 also features AUTOWeatherseal to automaticallyclose the duct when the cooler is not in use. This stops

The Breezair EXV is a high performance evaporative

air conditioner that promises reliability.

The exclusive one-piece, aerodynamic fan has a squaresteel shaft to prevent slippage and is pre-lubricated withsealed bearings (no oil needed). It cools more efficiently,so the motor lasts longer and costs less to operate.

The variable speed junction box has an on-board isolationswitch and overload circuit breaker protection on the pumpand motor circuits.

The Breezair EXV comes with either the Harmony SensorTouchWall Controller or the Horizon SensorTouch Wall Controller. Bothhave variable speed, programmable climate control, auto mode,manual mode and a timer, as well as a drain function.

The Breezair salinity manager includes a water managementsystem and automatic drain system. The water managementsystem monitors water quality electronically and maintainscooling efficiency by detecting impurities before they buildup. It automatically replaces impure water with clean water,increases cooling effectiveness and pad reliability, as well as

decreasing maintenance. The automatic drain system preventsalgae, dirt build up and odors, so the sump stays clean anddry when not in use and less maintenance is required.

The integrated diagnostic module automatically monitorscooler operation and provides self-diagnostics.

The microprocessor constantly analyses water quality, waterconsumption and power output.

The control power module is smart, reliable and durable.It features advanced electronic controls that ensure theBreezair EXV operates at optimum efficiency at all times.

The Breezair cabinet will not corrode or rust. The UV stabilized structural polymer material is the same type used to

make acid baths, battery cases and some space satellite components. Plus, its designed to blend with any property.

Axial Fan

The better the fan, the more efficient the system. This super powerful fan is designed to maximize

performance and minimize noise. The purpose designed fans are inherently balanced, with aerofoil

blades to provide energy efficient, high pressure performance.

Centrifugal Fan

Centrifugal fans are the first choice of air conditioning engineers worldwide. The Breezair forward curved,

centrifugal fans are made from injection-molded polypropylene. They are double-width, inherently statically and

dynamically balanced, with aerofoil blades to provide high pressure performance and very low noise levels.

Tornado Pump

The perfect pump for the job! The Tornado pump is built to last. Designed, manufactured and tested by Seeley

International, the Tornado pump epitomizes reliability. It features very safe material choices, an encapsulated motor

with overload cut-out, stainless steel shafts and bearings fully protected from water. Plus, it has a clever impact-

start feature that will overcome any tendency for the pump to become locked up with residue during prolonged off

periods. The strong synchronous motor has constant speed, independent of voltage fluctuations, and runs very cool.

AUTOWeatherseal

The AUTOWeatherseal closes the duct automatically stopping convection currents in winter from allowing cold air

to enter, or heat to escape. When the fan is off, the Breezair AUTOWeatherseal shuts and blocks those air currents.

The result a more comfortable environment in winter and no need to add covers during the off season.

AQUAflow

Breezairs AQUAflow non-clogging water distribution is one of the things that make it unique. The water

distributor maximizes cooling efficiency by supplying a continuous and balanced flow of water across the cooling

pads. This is different to any other brand of evaporative coolers, which are subject to water flow variations for a

number of reasons. Breezairs balanced flow ensures highest evaporation efficiency and maximum cooling.

Chillcel High Efficiency Pads

With strong, long-lasting Chillcel pads that last for up to seven years, maintenance is easy. Chillcel pads

are made from organic paper materials, cleverly manufactured into honeycomb panels that have excellent

structural and cooling strength. They are easy to clean and replace when necessary. Seeley International

has been using Chillcel pads in our products for decades, so they have a proven track record.

Aspen Pads

Aspen wood fiber pads retain many times their own weight in water, so are ideal for evaporative cooling

due to their remarkably high saturation efficiency. They can be easily cleaned and replaced when necessary.

Thermostat Control

The Breezair range features a thermostat for fully-automatic control.

Digital Smartbox / Control Power Module

A state-of-the-art digital electronic control means optimum performance. The Smartbox digital control

module monitors and controls all of the air conditioners features to provide ultimate comfort conditions,

temperature sensing and water quality supervision completely safely and reliably. The module also

incorporates diagnostic features and memory to aid troubleshooting and minimize downtime. Several

user choice parameters are available to allow you to set up your preferred environment.

WATERManager System

The Breezair WATERManager ensures optimum machine life with minimum maintenance by

constantly checking water quality. As the water in the air conditioner evaporates, it leaves behind

impurities and salts, which then become deposited on the cooling pads and cause the cooling power

to fall. The WATERManager System senses water quality with a probe that sends a signal back to the

electronic module, which then ejects some dirty water and allows fresh water to enter.

Totally Enclosed Motor

Breezairs fan motor is fully enclosed to international standards and excludes any moisture

ingress from all sources. The advanced design is rigorously tested and completely reliable.

Clean and Dry Function

The cooler drains automatically when its not in use, preventing algae growth and maintaining a clean cooler.

HushPower Direct Drive Motor

Exclusive to Breezair, this motor is super efficient and electronically controlled

for optimum efficiency. Corrosion resistant, its the quietest motor available and

has unsurpassed reliability, reduced energy use and runs at variable speeds.

Seelectric Motor

A single phase induction motor, exclusive to Breezair, designed

and built to the highest mechanical and electrical standards.
