Google Apps for Education
Quick StartFor Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory @AMDG.brebeuf.org domain
First Time Log-in• Go to www.docs.google.com• Click on Sign- In box• Your login is: [email protected](example: [email protected])• Password is:
password!1
You will be prompted to create a new password after first login.
And you are now in the Google Cloud…. To change tool choose from circled options…You can now:• Email• Create documents, presentations, spreadsheets• Access Cloud storage• Create calendars for personal use or share for coordination with family and
friends.
Saving File – Cloud OptionsCreate your document, presentation, spreadsheet, etc…
Save File to desktop (note: ALL desktop files are wiped once you log out)
Edline
• Open Edline – My File Locker – Upload File
Google [email protected]
• Open Google Docs – Documents Tab - Upload File
Or you can save to a flash driveFile – Save As – select your mobile device
Forwarding Your AMDG Email to Another Account
• Go to Tools (gear icon) – Mail Settings
• Under Forwarding Tab – Enter the forwarding address.
Calendar
DocumentsCreate new or upload
Share or make visible to others under More Options
Sharing Documents– Create a New Document, Spreadsheet etc…
– Choose Share (to the right) and search for person in domain
Collections = Folders– Create New – Collections
– Collections can be shared like documents. Great way to make shared folders/e-portfolios
Sites (Faculty Creation Only)
One more thing…
Single Sign - On to Easy Bib account for research
