You are invited to be a sponsor and/or exhibitor at LCANZ 2015 to be held at the Mercure Brisbane, QLD from 6 – 8 March 2015. The inaugural 2012 Conference brought over 300 attendees to Sydney, and we anticipate 2015 to be even bigger and better.

Breastfeeding is the biologically normal way for babies to be nourished after birth. Breastfeeding, while providing food for babies, also confers immunities and protection from disease on the newborn; the skin-to-skin contact, touch, eye contact and engagement between mother and baby during breastfeeding not only promotes mother-baby bonding, breastfeeding helps baby learn to regulate stress and builds neural pathways in baby’s brain.

Breastfeeding is more than milk.

Participants at the LCANZ 2015 Breastfeeding conference will hear from internationally and nationally acclaimed experts in breastfeeding and lactation research and education during the 3 day conference.

The broad scientific and multi-professional dimension of the More than Milk conference will attract Lactation Consultants, Nurses, Midwives, Maternal Child Health Nurses, Plunket Nurses, GPs, Paediatricians, Neonatal Nurses, Doulas, ABA Counsellors, La Leche League Leaders, public health professionals and other breastfeeding advocates.

The scientific program will be based on peer-reviewed submitted abstracts and ‘hands-on’ workshop sessions.

Sponsor-supported exhibition booths and table displays will be on the same level of the hotel as the plenary sessions and catering, with delegates congregating in and spilling out into the display area and foyer during registration, morning/afternoon teas and lunch each day.

LCANZ

Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand (LCANZ) is the professional organisation for International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC), health professionals and members of the public who have an interest in lactation and breastfeeding. LCANZ evolved in 2010 after a number of years of careful planning by IBCLC Lactation Consultants in Australia and New Zealand together with the full support of International Lactation Consultants’ Association (ILCA).

LCANZ provides a uniquely southern hemisphere approach to breastfeeding and lactation, and showcases the abundance of knowledge, research and skill in our region. LCANZ is the “peak body” of lactation professionals in this region and as such is in a great position to lobby Governments, and NGO’s on breastfeeding issues.

Kindly note: WHO Code – LCANZ will not accept any funding from entities that are not in compliance with the WHO Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes and its subsequent WHA relevant resolutions (http://www.who.int/nutrition/publications/infantfeeding/9241541601/en/). All sponsors and exhibitors will be required to sign an agreement confirming their compliance with this Code.

**TABLE DISPLAY – This option is reserved exclusively to not-for-profit organisations to enable their participation in the trade exhibition. Proof of NPO registration/accreditation in Australia or New Zealand must be provided at the time of application. Please note that table display exhibitor staff are NOT entitled to attend conference session. If you wish to attend sessions, you must upgrade your staff registration to a different registration category.

FINAL PROGRAM BOOK ADVERTS – Any advertising artwork (for Final Program Book) must be supplied by the sponsoring company. The Final Program Book will be printed in black & white inside, with cover pages (including the Sponsor Acknowledgement pages on the inside front cover) in full colour.

We welcome workshop sponsorship, such as Breakfast Sessions and also suggestions for sponsored speakers. Please send your expression of interest to the LCANZ Conference Secretariat ([email protected]) who will forward it to the Organising Committee for consideration.

Coffee Booth Sponsor$2,500 (single booth) or $4,500 (double booth)

Turn your exhibition booth into a coffee lounge and serve coffee to delegates throughout the day! This sponsorship package is yours for the making, leaving all catering and furniture options to you as the sponsor. Venue catering requirements must be met (if providing your own coffee machine rather than hiring one onsite), and we are happy to assist with any supplier referrals. Trade booth inclusions as per ‘Exhibition Details’ with 2 exhibitor staff registrations for a single booth and 3 staff registrations for a double booth.

The exhibition area is fully integrated around the registration and catering area of the conference, with delegates entering plenary sessions via the exhibition area. This will be held on the Mezzanine Level of the Mercure Brisbane, with break-out sessions being held on Level 2 of the hotel.

• Please indicate the sponsorship package(s) and/or exhibition booth(s) ortable of your choice on the attached booking form and return to the LCANZ 2015 Conference Secretariat.
