Generation's School …a happy place to learn Assalamu alaikum Dear Parents Breakfast & Advance Level Parents Workshop Saturday, August 24, 2013 8:15 am to 10:30 am The advance year of A levels can be very demanding for the students and parents. Being parents we all understand that it is very important not only to know what is going on in our children’s life but also what to expect and be prepared for it. Especially now that your child is in A2 and their college admissions and external tests are right around the corner. We all know that bringing about awareness not only makes parents confident; they also start understanding their children's educational terminology and then start supporting their children in their decisions. Keeping this in mind, Generation’s School is holding a workshop for parents for increasing their awareness and how parents could assist their children at this crucial juncture when they are required to make important decisions in their life. This workshop will help parents understand: 1. The academic language students use ( ACT, SAT, BMAT, Accelerated, college-board, common-app, UCAS, OUAC etc) 2. What to expect in the next 1 year. 3. The role of a counselor in year 2. 4. Personality assessment. 5. Career Trends 6. How parents need to be prepared 7. How can parents support (Parent and child trust) 8. Current students placements. 9. IBCC (Equivalency) 10. Resources. This workshop will be followed by breakfast with parents and students. It will also give you an opportunity to interact with teachers and management. Please acknowledge receipts and confirm your attendance.

The advance year of A levels can be very demanding for the students and parents. Being parents we all understand that it is very important not only to know what is going on in our children’s life but also what to expect and be prepared for it. Especially now that your child is in A2 and their college admissions and external tests are right around the corner.
