QUADRILATERAL PROJECT
Brandon Gibson & Tyler Pegarella
Parallelogram Opposite angles are equal. Consecutive angles are supplementary. Opposite sides are congruent. Any side can be considered a base. The altitude is the perpendicular
distance from the base to the opposite side.
The diagonals bisect.
Angles and Sides of a Parallelogram
Real Life Parallelograms
Properties of a Rectangle
Rectangles are types of parallelograms.Opposite sides are parallel and congruent.
The diagonals bisect. The diagonals’ central angles are congruent.
The diagonals are congruent. All vertices are right angles.

Properties of a Rhombus
All sides are the same length. Sides across from each other are
parellel. No angles are 90 degrees Any two angles positioned next to each
other are 90 degrees when added.

Properties of a square
A square has four equal sides A square has four 90 degree angles The diagonals are perpendicular Opposite sides are parallel and equal The diagonals are equal
Angles and Relationships of a Square
Properties of a Trapezoid
A trapezoid has 1 pair of parellel sides Adjacent angles are supplementary Diagonals are congruent A trapezoid can be divided into four
triangles
Properties of an Isosceles Trapezoid The bases (top & bottom) of an isosceles
trapezoid are parallel. Opposite sides of an isosceles trapezoid are
the same length (congruent) The angles on either side of the bases are
the same size/measure(congruent) The diagonals are congruent Adjacent angles (next to each other) along
the sides are supplementary. That means their measures adds up to 180 degrees.
