Introduction

SendGrid Brand Guidelines - 2012 3

Welcome to the SendGrid Brand Guidelines. This document will help you understand the correct usage of the SendGrid brand. It describes the basic elements of our brand and usage guidelines.

The SendGrid corporate signature is a valuable asset to the company and must therefore be used in accordance with these guidelines.

Our corporate signature must be consistent across all internal and external, online and offline collateral, applications, worldwide offices, presentations and events.

Use of the SendGrid corporate signature, brand and images is subject to copyright and requires SendGrid’s permission.

General Guidelines

The corporate signature is the major visual symbol of the SendGrid brand and includes the infinity symbol, the logo type (SendGrid), and a “registered” symbol (®).

infinity symbol logo type

Primary Corporate Signature“registered” symbol ®

The logo type must always be written as SendGrid - with letters “S” and “G” capitalized; with “Send” and “Grid” conjoined.

The infinity symbol is the primary symbol that represents the company and should be used in all of the company’s products and applications.

Use of the corporate signature is carefully controlled. It is unique to SendGrid and must not be recreated or reproduced in any way. The corporate signature must always be reproduced from the original artwork supplied by the company’s Design Team.

Proportions

The SendGrid corporate signature is unique to the company. The proportion and arrangement of each of its elements have been precisely determined.

The infinity symbol’s height is twice the height of the logo type.

The distance between the inifinity symbol and the logo type is equal to the dot on top of the letter “i” in the logo type as illustrated.

Protected Area

To enure that the SendGrid corporate signature is visible, readable and that it appears prominently without interference, it must have a space around it. A minimum exclusion area has been established to leave it clear of other graphics and text. More space around it is preferred when possible.

The protected area is equal to the width of the letter “S” in SendGrid.

This example illustrates the proper use of space around the SendGrid corporate signature.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

Example usage of protected area

The minimum sizes for print media are 40mm and 26mm.

In cases where the corporate signature is used in its minimum size and the “registered” symbol (®) is no longer very readable, the “registered” symbol (®) can be made bigger for it to have better visibility.
