CELEBRATE IRELAND IN STORY AND SONG

Join us as local author Anna Prager discusses
her book I Remember, an autobiography
chronicling her family’s experience during the
Holocaust. Anna was born in Chmielnik, Po-
land in 1936. Her story begins in Poland, pro-
gressing through several countries during the Holocaust.

YOUNG NATURALIST BACKPACK PROGRAM

Join us as we introduce a new Young
Naturalist Backpack Program.
Patrons with a valid library card will
be able to check out 1 of 6 backpacks
filled with items that encourage kids
and families to explore the more than 12 miles of South
Kingstown Land Trust’s beautiful natural areas.
There will be a presentation by author Jeanine Silversmith
from RI Families in Nature about hiking with kids, and re-
freshments will be served. This program was created in
partnership with the South Kingstown Land Trust and
made possible by a generous grant from Bank Newport.
