Who doesn’t know about Amazon and Walmart, the two consumer giants are known to bring in customers by
giving heavy discounts. In the current situation they are known to do that all the more. Last year Amazon was able
to sell pens equal to the largest 4 digit perfect square number in a single day by giving heavy discount of 70 %.
The customers were three less than 45 times the number of stores. The sum of number of stores and number of
customers who bought pen on that day were 319.Each customer bought only one pen. The cost price of each pen
was 20 and the profit earned was 10 %
From the information given above answer the following:
1. How many pens were sold by Amazon on that particular day?
2. Find the number of customers who bought the pens.
3. What was the total profit on that day by the sale of pens.
