Bradycardia and Basics of PacingModule 1K Virtual Reality WorkshopApril 14-15, 2018Evaluation SummaryAdvanced Technology Center Beijing, China
Executive Summary
• 13 participants from Asia participated and all of them with implanting Pacemaker experience• 1.5 days comprehensive training on Pacemaker knowledge in Beijing ATC• This training aims to strengthen physicians’ basic knowledge and practical experience by
providing different hands-on practice which achieved a good balance between lecture and activities
• Such as the “Implant Procedure Workshop” which allowed physicians to practice cut-down procedure, catheter and lead manipulation and wound opening/closing skills under the guidance of expert
• Received extremely good feedback from the delegates to the program and the Faculty group• An area for improvement is to see whether the puncture method can be included in the
“Implant Procedure Workshop” • 92% delegates are quite comfortable (or above) with Pacemaker implantation procedure
versus 31% prior to the training• 100% delegates comment both the “Implant Procedure Workshop” was quite useful (or

How could this workshop model be improved?• Already very nice.• Review the basic knowledge of pacemaker.• Learn the step of use programmer. That’s really helps a lot.• Puncture method.• Very useful program.• Nothing. It is already perfect!• May add hands-on training.
Any other comment?• Arrange the workshop of more trouble shooting in the future.• Excellent! World-class faculty.• Pacemaker follow-up and feature is a useful class. It is worth to take
more time to learn this.
