• SmartConnect is a highly secure encrypted web-based citizen registration and card management system

• Provides a single master data base across services • Integrates in real time to existing legacy systems • Instantly records data and updates• Auditable storage of recorded proofs. • Documents scanned & stored against the individual record

• e-purse 2004- 2008 a closed loop, within BFC across libraries and leisure sites

• Popular with leisure users but limitations • Sought prepaid EMV included on our card• 2008-10 liaison with various prepaid card suppliers• 2011 creation of EMV approved design• Progressing NEPO contract with Corner Bank• Dec 2012 contact from allpay • 2013-14 creating Direct Payments with Visa & allpay• 2014 it’s clear Mastercard is working with public sector
