GENERAL

Description in the following items shall be read in conjuction with the foregoing "Conditions of Contract", "Specification," "Preambles to All Trades" sections and each item in this Bill shall be held to included for all costs, expenses charges and expenditures arising out of complying with all requirements as set out in the above mentioned documents.

All quantities measured in this Bill are "PROVISIONAL" and therefore are subject to re-measurement based on works completed on the site all in accordance with the construction drawings and the provisions in the contract. The re-bill "item" whereby the price for such item shall not be adjusted at the final account, unless instructed otherwise by the S.O..

Contractor shall visit the site at his own expenses for pricing the works measured under this Bill. He/she shall allow in his tender sun herein for all necessary (whether or not shown in the Tender Drawings or otherwise) for the purpose of proper execution and completion of the Works measured under this bill for receiving all new works. Any claims for extra cost and/ or time in connection with other necessary works as described will absolutely not be considered whatsoever.

Contractor's proposed method/ design for all dismantling, hacking/ demolition, diamond cutting, safetly measured, back propping etc as described shall be the most appropriate method to keep the dust, noise, vibration and the unnecessary damages to the minimum level. If his/ her proposed method/ design is found not acceptable and shall instructed by S.O, he/she shall review and change the proposed method/ design and carry out the remaining works with new approved method/ design without any additional cost and time implication.

ALTERNATION, DEMOLITION, RENOVATION & UPGRADING WORKS

Dismantling, hacking/ demolition works described herein below have all been abbreviated. The Contractor is to refer to the Drawings and carry out his own site investigation so as to fully satisfied himself the works required including any restrictions and relevant Local Authorities and/ or the Employer. The Tenderer is deemed to have included in his prices in compliance fully with he above requirements and his prices for works shall be held firm on a lump sum basis and not subjecting to any otherwise instructed as a variation by the S.O..

Contractor shall responsible for his/ her own proposed method of construction for all dismantling and hacking/ demolition. Futhermore, contractor shall at his own cost/ expense to immediately recifty and damage or intersurference/ disruption to all existing propoerties which are not formed a part of the works. If he/ she fails to carry out the required rectification within a stipulated time frame then the S.O. maay reserves the right to engage other specialist to carry out the rectification works. All cost incurred shall then be deducted from any money due or become due to the Contractor.

The Contractor shall deemed to have included in his own prices for working outside normal hours, out of sequence, multiple staging, 'piece meal' works, idling and standing time, provision of special precautions, appropriate temporary protections, safety measures, obtaining permits and approvals, making good and reinstating works and all other items deemed necessary for the nature of works measured under this Bill.

Price of all temporary works (like: strutting/ planking, back proping, temporary protection, safety measure, temporary covering to protect affected surrounding area etc) shall be deemed to included the cost for maintaining, adopting, upgrading if necessary, multuple handling, relocation and making good within the construction period, dismantling and removing from the Site upon completion of the works and/ or as directed by the S.O..
