SAP Knowledge Base Article Symptom l BPC Export of transport request from source system is ok. l BPC Import of transport request into target system, the user receives the following error in Transaction "STMS": Relevant text of error message" Post-import method RS_AFTER_IMPORT started for APPS L, date and time: Post-processing taking place in client 010 Start of the after-import method RS_APPS_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) APPS (Activation Mode) Start After Import for AppSet in Client 010 for RFC Import Step UPDPTAB completed without errors Import Step ADMIN_DEF_UPD completed without errors Failed to create Appset Start of the after-import method RS_AFTER_IMPORT for APPS L RS_AFTER_IMPORT belongs to package RS The errors affect the following components: BW-WHM (Warehouse Management) Ended with return code ===> 8 <=== " Environment l SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.0 version for the NetWeaver platform. l SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 7.5 version for the NetWeaver platform. l SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 7.0 version for the NetWeaver platform. Cause l Logon details for RFC Destination client are incorrect or blank. l RFC Destination client using Transction SM59, the Connection Test is ok but BPC Import uses the logon details. Environment
l SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.0 version for the NetWeaver platform. l SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 7.5 version for the NetWeaver platform. l SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 7.0 version for the NetWeaver platform.
Cause
l Logon details for RFC Destination client are incorrect or blank. l RFC Destination client using Transction SM59, the Connection Test is ok but BPC Import uses the logon details.
Resolution
l Transaction "RSTPRFC" check the password is correct for User in the Client destination for Import Postprocessing:
1531236 - BPC (Outlooksoft) Transport fails for after-import method RS_APPS_AFTER_IMPORT Ended with return code ===> 8 <===
Version 3 Validity: 24.06.2013 - active Language English
l Transaction SM59 for the same RFC Destination client, check the same User & Password are defined in the "Logon" section:
l Transaction "SU01" to check the User = ALEREMOTE, as in the above example, is correctly setup.
