Ness Lake- Day 2
Enjoying ourselves! Such a great day. The beautiful view!
3 Things I LearnedSmudging; an aboriginal tradition to cleanse
your soul before you start your day. No matter how much you want do things on
your own, you will almost always do better with teamwork.
I learned how sensitive bears really are to smell, I never thought the littlest bit of food could attract a bear.
3 Things I need to improveI really don’t need my whole wardrobe on a
canoe trip!My stern paddling needs some SERIOUS
improvement.. More snack food, less stove-required food. (1 more for good luck) – I need to learn how
to not forget my stuff everywhere!
3 Things I did well I did well at learning different paddling
techniques quickly. I improved quickly on how to use my stove,
considering I was scared of it in the beginning.
I picked up that guy from Vancouver pretty well, too.
