Step 4 - Latch Safety Reinforcement4-1 Locate the Hook with the front edge of the Standing Platform, aligning the threaded Hole on the Platform with the Hole on the Hook (Ref. Fig 4-1).

4-2 Loosely secure the Hook using one Washer and Hex Head Bolt. NOTE: Leave approximately 1/2” of Bolt showing.

4-3 Next, carefully rotate your Power Pro over onto one side (Ref. Fig. 4-2).

4-4 Install the Phillips Head Screw into the bottom side of the Hook. NOTE: The Screw may be installed either directly against the Tube or directly against a Plastic Rib on the Standing Platform. You may need to loosen the Platform Screws to properly seat this Screw into place.

4-5 NOTE: Make certain the Hook edge is parallel with the edge of the Standing Platform, then fully tighten the Hex Head Bolt, Phillips Head Screw and Platform Screws.

Step 5 - Latch Safety Reinforcement5-1 Carefully rotate your Power Pro back to the upright position.

5-2 Place the Rail Assembly (from Step 3) over onto your Power Pro, loosely re-installing Washers & Nylock Nuts securing thePivot Bracket.

5-3 NOTE: Do Not Tighten the Hardware installed during this Step, it should be tightened during Step 6.

Step 6 - Latch Safety Reinforcement6-1 Position the Latch with the Hook, making certain the Latch is cen-tered on the Hook and approximately vertical (Ref. Fig. 6). Then install the Knob (included with your Kit) through the Latch and into the Hook.

6-2 Make certain the Bolt Keepers are flush with the end of the Rail then tighten all Nylock Nuts securing the Rail tothe Pivot Bracket and Latch.

6-3 Finally, reinstall the Rail End Cap.

Step 7 - Latch Safety Reinforcement7-1 Test the installation of your Latch by uninstalling the Knob, then slightly rotate the Latch away from the Rod Pack, lifting the Rail Assembly up (as shown at right). As this happens, the Latch should remain perpendicular to the Rail (as shown at right).

7-2 Next, lower the Rail back to the floor, allowing the Latch to slide over and “hook” into the engaged position. Finally, re-install the Knob. If the Knob is difficult to engage, loosen the Nylock Nuts securing the Latch and adjust slightly. Then reinstall the Knob and retighten the Nuts.
