thrown into the fiery furnace (v6) “Certain Chaldeans” brought charges

against Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego that they would not worship the idol (v8-9)

When confronted, these young, godly men would not bow down to the statue (v16-18)

Because of their disobedience, the young men were thrown into the fiery furnace (v21)

They were miraculously delivered (v26) Seeing this, Nebuchadnezzar

acknowledged God, set up rules against blasphemy against Him, and gave favor to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (v28-29)

Based on Daniel 3:16-18, the young men knew that the Lord could deliver them.

“But even if He does not…” We also know that God is able to deliver us, but do

not know if He will How do we face these trials, and oppositions?

James 1:2-4, 12 We are promised a crown of life

Romans 8:31-39 Nothing can separate us from the love of God

1 Corinthians 10:13 God will not let us be tempted beyond what we
