Powered by a decade of global research and practice by the top-ranked Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), this book will introduce you to practical tools and tactics to improve collaboration between groups in your organization or community.

A pocket-sized tool that provides a summary of the book and an efficient way to focus the concepts on a real boundary spanning challenge.

The Boundary Explorer Facilitator’s Guide and a slideshow are available from distribution or through CCL Labs.

Boundary Spanning Tactics for Success

Helps clients think through one of their business challenges, identify all the groups that need to be involved and strategies how to reach across the various boundaries.

The workbook is color-coded to Boundary Explorer, and can be used as a companion resource for a BE session.

The online or paper toolkit helps clients apply the BSL practices. Each tool provides step by step guidance on how to integrate one of the BSL practices into the client’s work.

The facilitator’s guide helps the leader select the right tool and provides best practices and information on when to use. The online version includes demo videos.

The adventure video game where the player needs to get many groups aligned to save the planet.

Far Plane illustrates the BSL framework. Each level is based on one of the 6 practices.

The different groups represent the 5 boundaries. The solutions to each puzzle reflect BSL tactics used in the real world.

This Workshop Kit prepares HR professionals or facilitators to lead a BSL session by providing simple, pre-packaged BSL modules.

The kit includes participant and facilitator materials.

It can be combined with game or online toolkit.

The design was originally based on the CCL work in Iraq.

It takes participants through a sequential process in order to work on a real strategic organizational change challenge while simultaneously learning and applying the boundary spanning strategies and practices.
