Total sales in November were up 5% from last year but down
18% from October.
Inventory is quite low throughout the region.
There has been a good surge of
activity and fewer listings – resulting
in a higher U/C %.
The activity this fall has been
similar to that of the past five
years.
The number of new listings has been in line with
what we have been seeing over
the last few years. LOW!
Sales are behind last year by 4% and
ahead of 2012 by 5%. Many closings tend to be toward
the end of the month, thus the
spikes each month.
My View of the Market The market is slowing down for the year but
there are many buyers still out there waiting for new listings to come on the market.
Looking ahead to 2015 it seems that not much has changed. Interest rates are still favorable, the local job market is good and inventory is low.
