• Boudica inherited the rule of the Iceni people from who husband who died

• He gave half of the Kingdom to thee Romans and half was for Boudica and her people

• The Romans ignored his wishes, and took over the Kingdom

• Roman soldiers treated the people like slaves and prisoners

• They flogged Boudica and raped her two daughters, Camorra and Tasca

• Boudica rebelled

The Rebellion

• Boudica joined forces with the Trinobantes, and attacked

• The first battle was at Colchester

• Boudica prevailed in Colchester, taking over the Temple of Claudius where the Roman soldiers were hidden.

The March

• Boudica and her allies went from her village to Londonium and further, where they met the huge Roman army that brought their end

• Boudica and her two daughters were in her chariot, and survived the defeat.

Their End

• After surviving the battle that had become a massacre, Boudica and her daughters escaped from the battle site

• After their defeat, all three poisoned themselves.
