    Boscobel Area Health Care is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. Services at the hospital include Cardiac Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, Clinic Care, and Primary Care, as well as Chemotherapy, Respiratory Care, and Physical Therapy. Diagnostic Services in the department include Laboratory, Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, EEG, CT Scanning, and more.

    The BAHC Emergency Department, a Level IV Trauma Center, treats 5,000 patients each year. The department features two trauma rooms, as well as six additional beds. Built in 2008, the department is equipped with brand-new tools and monitors and the latest medical technology. The department also offers a fast track for walk-in care.

    Physicians staff the Emergency Department seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The BACH staff has the support of First Responders, emergency personnel, and medical flight services. Physicians and nurses in the department are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Care.

    BACH Emergency Department physicians have a dual Emergency Medicine/Hospitalist role and the opportunity to work in either 12 or 24-hour shifts. Physicians perform patient admissions and discharges, as well as inpatient rounds.

    All physicians are partners with Southern Wisconsin Emergency Physicians, LLP,

    a registered limited liability partnership. An excellent compensation package is

    offered to part-time and full-time physicians. Physician partners have the option

    to participate in a 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting. Additionally, physician

    partners are eligible for health, life, disability, optical, and dental insurance

    through payroll deduction. Malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage or

    on an occurrence basis is provided.
