At the helm of Borofa Consulting is MaLlele PeTje. PeTje brings with him over 25 years’ experience in the education sector which includes holding directorships and serving on the boards of a number of organisations including NBI Gauteng EQUIP, Sci-Bono Discovery Centre, Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance, the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, Zenex Foundation and ReMagine Holdings. He has extensive experience in senior executive roles in the non-government, private and public sectors in the areas of policy development, corporate governance and intergovernmental relationship management. PeTje has served in the capacity of District Director, Deputy Director General and Head of Department in the Gauteng Department of Education and Director General in the Gauteng Provincial Government. Prior to joining the Government, PeTje worked as a lecturer and Head ofDepartment in various higher education institutions.

Our team of people and partners have knowledge, competences, skills and the right attitudes working in all manner of contexts, that is, large, multiphase projects withmultiple sites and with people from different backgrounds.

Social responsibilityBorofa Consulting is committed to the upliftment of communities. It has partnered with a not-for-profit entity, Kgaditsi Trust through which regular donations are made to support projects and programmes in the following areas:

o Education in particular the learning of Maths, Science, Technology and Agricultureo Use of ICTs in Schoolso Agriculture specifically farming, food security and the development of cooperatives in rural areas.

It strives to work collaboratively with charitable organizations and Christian ministries promotingsocial justice, the welfare of people and awareness on cancer. In this regard the FM Petje Memorial Methodist Church (formerly Makurung Methodist Church) is one of the beneficiaries.
