Tenderers are instructed to quote "rate only" for all QRO items without fail and not to enter any amount in the amount column. The rates quoted under QRO items is negotiable during the evaluation of the tender and the rationalized rate only will be consid

The dimensions shown in the drawings shall have to be verified by the contractor at site before execution of the items and necessary allowance's have to be made as per the actual dimensions available at site.

Items of work provided in this schedule but not covered in the specifications shall be executed strictly as per instructions of the engineer.

The quantities of the various items mentioned in the schedule of items are approximate and may vary up to any extent or be deleted altogether. The quoted rates of each item shall remain firm as long as the variation in the total value of the works execute

Provision of all materials required for site safety including provision of safety helmets, safety belts and safety shoes for the employees.

The Contractor shall provide for all transport for labour and for the movement of plant and equipment to and from site, erection, dismantling, moving about site as necessary and including allowance for all idle time.

The Contractor shall provide all necessary labour, plant and tools for the proper and efficient execution of the Works including that required for the nominated subcontractors works.

The Contractor shall provide adequate and competent site supervisory and administrative staffs for the proper execution of the works

Provision, maintenance and removal of temporary office accomodation for staff, sanitation and other facilities for the workmen and staff The facilities shall be maintained in a clean and orderly condition.

Temporary water and electricity shall be provided at one source by the Employer. Distribution to required place with all works shall be in Tenderer's scope. Power shall be distributed with ELCB's

The Contractor shall provide all necessary Personal Protection Equipments (PPE : Safety Helmet, shoes, reflective jackets etc

The rate for all demolishing and dismantling to include carting and disposal of the debris outside the site

The rate for all demolition ,dismantling , removing & disposal should be with due consideration on scrap/ salvage value

Serviceable material after dismantling shall be the property of the owner and the same has to be disposed outside the premises as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Rate shall be for all heights, floors, levels, depths and lead.

Excavation by mechanical means in all kinds of soil, wet or dry (such as yellow murrum, hard murrum / gravel or mixture of any kind, etc.), in loose and slushy condition, to the required level from existing ground level or approved strata for foundations, UG tanks etc.; including disposing off excess excavated material away from site as per direction of the Engineer -In-Charge and backfilling sides of foundation/ working space with the excavated material (WIth good quality earth approved by PMC/Client) in layers of 150mm high, consolidation, compacting etc complete. The rate shall be inclusive of required dewatering by bailing / pumping out water to keep the site dry at all times until completion, making temporary stepping / sloping, shoring , sectioning, trimming, dressing of sides, leveling or grading, cleaning, removing and excavating loose pockets as directed by the EIC all complete to his entire satisfaction.

Supplying and filling with river sand in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth: consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering for all leads and lifts, etc complete as as directed by Engineer-in Charge

Providing and laying plain cement concrete (PCC) 1:5:10 mix using 40 mm nominal size well-graded approved quality aggregate and river sand as directed by the EIC; including compacting, curing, establishing approved dewatering system to keep site dry all time during works below ground, cleaning, preparing surfaces, junctions, etc. including required shuttering all complete at all heights and leads as per specifications to the entire satisfaction of the EIC.

Providing and laying Ready Mix concrete M25 Grade Concrete with minimum cement content 340 Kg/m3 using 20 mm nominal size well-graded aggregate with maximum water cement ratio 0.42 including vibrating / compacting, curing, etc. complete; excluding centering/shuttering and reinforcement; as directed by the Engineer-In Charge complete for all depths, heights, levels and leads.

Providing, straightening, cutting, bending and binding in position FE 500 reinforcement bars, to correct shape and size as per detailed drawings, specifications and as per approved bar bending schedule by Engineer In charge, for all reinforced concrete work in sub and superstructure such as walls, columns / stub columns, beams, slabs, rafts etc.; with correct size PVC cover blocks or approved concrete cover blocks of same grade as of concrete and tying with annealed binding wire of 18 gauge; provide required labour and machines / equipments / tools / tackles for handling, shifting, bending, binding, etc. all complete to the satisfaction of the Engineer Incharge at all depths, height, levels & leads.
