Providing and fixing structural steel frame (for dry cladding with 30 mm

thick gang saw cut with machine cut edges sand stone) on walls at al l

heights using M.S. square/ rectangular tube in the required pattern as

per architectural drawing, including cost of cutting, bending, we lding etc.

The frame work shall be fixed to the wal l with t he help of M.S. brackets/

lugs of angle iron/ flats etc. which shall be welded to the frame and

embedded in brick wall w ith cement concrete block 1:2:4 (1 cement :2

coa rse sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) of size 9 300x230x300 mm, including cost of necessary centring and shuttering

and with approved expansion hold fasteners on CC/RCC surface,

including drilling necessary holes. Approved cramps/ pins etc. sha ll be

welded to the frame work to support stone cladding, the steel work wi ll

be given a priming coat of Zinc primer as approved by Engineerin-charge

and painted w ith two or more coats of epoxy paint (Shop drawings sha ll

be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge for approval before execution).

The frame work shall be fixed in true horizontal & vertical lines/planes.

(Only structural steel frame work shall be measured for the purpose of payment, stainless

steel cramps shall be paid for separately and nothing extra shall be paid).

quality, required shape and size, adjustable w ith stainless steel nuts,

sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth,

consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to

50m and lift upt l.Sm.

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including

excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth

upto 1.5 m including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning

the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including

consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and

disposing of surplus excavated soi l as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 300 mm dia. but not exceeding 600 mm dia.

Extra for excavating trenches for pipes, cables etc. in all kinds of soil for

depth exceeding 1.5 m, but not exceeding 3 m. (Rate is over corresponding basic item for depth upto 1.5 metre).

Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia.
