Introduction
This product installs in electric barrier gate to control barrier rod up and down. Control board
includes remote control module. T hrough remote controller, controller board can control barrier
rod up and down. Connect wire to relative terminal and press key to control barrier rod up and
down. And through RS -485 port, data protocol control barrier gate and obtain state.
l Equipped with RS-485 COM terminal. Support PGIS protocol. Can control barrier rod up
and down through computer and obtain state. Maximum COM distance is 1200 meters.
l Equipped with vehicle detector terminal. Can realize car anti -smashing and automatic rod
down when car passing.
l Compatible with general limit sensor with/without power source.
l Automatically matching code to setup remote controller. 7 groups of different codes can
be set. Setting times over 300 millions and service life over 10 years.
l Can connect wire controller to operate barrier gate through dry contact.
l Equipped with motor revolution speed test function (optional function).

Definition of Wiring Terminal
Terminal Function
J1 revolution speed transducer terminal
J2 anti-smashing terminal (infrared/vehicle detector)
J3 communication terminal
J4 passable sign terminal
J5 rod height sensor terminal
J6 power terminal, connect standard power/motor
J8 wire control terminal
l J2 anti-smashing terminal, including anti -smashing and anti-smashing/rod falling function.
Anti-smashing: When anti-smashing input signal works, rod stops falling and rising to
vertical position. Rod falling command will be in failure.
Anti-smashing/rod falling : Including anti-smashing function, when canceling anti -smashing
signal, rod will fall to horizontal position automatically.
l J4 passable sign terminal, car passing allowed only when rod in vertical position.
l J5 rod height sensor terminal, it releases position signal to stop motor running when rod in is
relative position. Hall components and reed switch can be as sensor. Effective high -low level
sensor is connected to relative terminal.
Definition of J5 Wiring Terminal
² +12V can be as effective high level driver power source and supply power for sensor.
² Passive sensor can connect low active and high active based on output feature. Low
active connects 2, 5 and 6 pin. 6 pin is public. High active connect 1, 3 and 4 pin. 1 pin
is public.
² Active sensor is powered by 1 and 6 pin. According to output active level, low connects
2 and 5 pin and high connects 3 and 4 pin.
l J6 is power terminal, including standard power AC220V power input and motor driver port.

Definition of J6 Terminal:
l J8 is wire control terminal, control barrier gate through dry contact.
OPEN:Rod rising to vertical position automatically
CLOSE:Rod falling to horizontal position automatically (anti-smashing signal limit)
STOP:Rod stops in any state
Definition of Function:
² Vertical: effective sensor input signal vertical position
² Horizontal: effective sensor input signal horizontal position
² Passable sign: car passing allowed only when rod in vertical position
² Anti-smashing: When anti -smashing input signal works, rod stops falling and rising to

² Anti-smashing/rod down: Including anti-smashing function, when canceling
anti-smashing signal, rod will fall to horizontal position automatically.

Remote Controller Module
The Barrier Gate PCB is standard congured. User can setup remote controller by matching code.
7 groups of different code can be settled for each control board. Times of resetting are over 3
millions and service life is more than 10 years
u Remote Registration:
Firstly cut off RS-485 COM port, J8 port (wire control port), J2 port (anti-smashing port), and
conrm no car under barrier rod. Then, rise rod to vertical position.
Press K4 key until COM indicator ickers (icker once per 1s). Press any key for 5s(COM
yellow indicator ickers frequently)until LAM red indicator icking once. Finish registration.
Multiple remote controllers can be registered. One remote controller can be registered with 7
different codes. Same codes registered once are all effective. Registration information will be
saved by current record mode over 7 different codes. That means the last code will cover the rst
code in the registered sequence.
u Clean Remote Controller Registration Information:
When barrier rod is in the vertical position (J5 terminal effective, VER green indicator lights on),
press K4 key until COM indicators ickers. And press STOP key until LAM red indicator ickers
once. Clear remote controller successfully. All registered information will be cleaned at once.
Loose K4 key to save operation, it will be effective when power up next time. If not saved, only
cut off power before loose K4 key.
u Attention:
1. Remote controller can work within 80 meters and be failure beyond the distance.
2. If remote controller can not control the relative device in limited distance, rstly check the
battery state to exclude battery running out and then check the code consistency of remote
controller and device.
3. Remote controller can control device if the code of remote controller is same with the receiver
code. If multiple devices are settled with same code, one remote controller will control multiple
devices. Thus, one remote controller can realize not to control multiple devices by setting different
device code.
4. If remote controller can not control barrier gate, please solve faults as follows: ① check remote
controller battery state. If battery runs out, replace battery immediately. ② check remote controller
working in limited distance or not. ③ check remote controller registered correctly or not.
