The interpretation of the Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s masterpiece: Love in the Time of Cholera. The time of the colony, where Facebook, Iphones, or instant messages were not around. Two figures that never touch, a forbidden love, unreachable where patience and waiting lasts a lifetime: Fifty-three years, seven months and eleven days to be exact.
Hand made in Colombia.Collaboration with an artisan.
CHANDELIER
RE-INVERSEDThe deformation of the female body has been an issue today. Perfectly transforming the imperfections. For most addicts, it is transforming the body into something almost unrecognizable. This project reflects this reality.
Revealing the hidden and reversing the visible, making a distorted, asexual and surprising skin. A figure that eliminates any concept of beauty as a criticism of the thousands of esthetic plastic surgeries performed daily in the world.
Model: Dania Navarro
BURROPlywood stool inspired in the quotidian of a rural life in Colombia. It has an additional belt which is easily attached to the owners waist in order to free both of their hands and facilitate the work of farmers and gardeners.

Identity
“El arte de cocinar no es algo estático, es una evolución constante, es inventiva, cada persona aporta algo de su sabiduría y va experimentando con sabores e ingredientes, con la integración de costumbres de otras regiones, generando asi una mezcla de sabores y colores.”
the how of things
The How of Things focuses entirely on the process. We are driven by our desire to explore process as phenomena and as physical trans-formation of materials. Our aim is to create objects and ideas that reflect our love for the process of creation, our scepticism towards production methods and our wish to share and include users and producers in our work.
The How of Things is a collabora-tion between Laura Roca and Emilia Molin. After meeting during their studies in Barcelona, the two have been working in different locations in Europe and South America gaining experience and exchanging perspectives. Currently the platform is based in Madrid and Malmö.
