AIESEC SZCZECIN

2012/2013

AIESEC Poland Lo-cal Committee Szczecin works out about 40 members. They are stu-dents from the University of Szczecin, West Pomer-anian University of Tech-nology, School of Public Administration, the Naval Academy, and others.

Local Com-mittee AIESEC Szczecin has been established in 1978! We are 34 years old :D

Our office is located on the West Pomeranian Business School at Zol-nietska street 53, build-ing A, room 306. We have second office ate university of Szczecin at Mickiewicza street. AIESEC office is our place of work and meeting. It is equipped with all the necessary tools such as computer, internet, print-er, telephone and so on.

Szczecin is the capi-tal city of the West Po-meranian Voivodeship in Poland. In the vicinity of the Baltic Sea, it is the country’s seventh-largest city and the largest sea-port in Poland. As of June 2011 the population was 407,811.

Szczecin is located on the Oder River, south of the Szczecin Lagoon and the Bay of Pomerania. The city is situated along the southwestern shore of Dąbie Lake, on both sides of the Oder and on several large islands be-tween the western and eastern branches of the river. Szczecin borders with the town of Police.

Enjoy My OriginThe aim of the project is showing children that its worthy and beneficial to learn English. Through the interactive work-shops, interns will show their culture and practice children’s knowledge of basic words and grammar of the foreign lan-guage they learn.

The main issue of the project is Creative Education. The main idea of the Crea-tive Education is spreading tolerance and cultural understanding among young students combined with entertaining and active form of classes during which stu-dents can develop their interests and gain better understanding of the world, social problems and life in other countries.

Make It Possible

The main task of the project are ex-change of cultural, language, arts and crafts experience, promote cultural un-derstanding, extend and promote idea of voluntary work, answer to the basic as-sumptions of social responsibility issues.

During this project interns provide in-formation about Millenium Development Goals. By exposing them to case stud-ies and practical experiences guided by international university students and by offering learning opportunities (work-shops, working groups, exercises) Make it possible project promote and develop the emissaries and champions of MDGs.
