The part that sticks out in your back is the spine of your scapula

The scapula attaches to the head of the humerus

Deltoid and trapezius muscles attach here

Clavicle Also known as the

collar bone The clavicle sits on the

Clavicle Because of its location and the way it sits on the

shoulder, the bone is weak and this is why many dislocations and separations occur

scapula and to the radius and ulna

Radial groove on posterior side makes up your elbow

Technical name for elbow is olecranon

Humerus Greater Tubercule – where muscle inserts

into somewhat rougher surface of the biceps and triceps (lateral)

Lesser Tubercule – insert of muscles from the scapula (medial)

Medial and lateral epicondyles are the pointy parts of your elbow

Radius & Ulna End of radius is on

your thumb side End of ulna is on your

little finger side Head of the ulna is

the bony part of the elbow

Radius & Ulna Attachment to the

wrist is called the Styloid process – carpal joint and brachioradiolis muscle

Trochler notch is where the bottom of the humerus sets in
