Bolnore Village Olympic School ‘It takes a village to win a race.’
Ready, Steady, Go!
What a busy SPORTS DAY – it started with an Olympic
Flame Parade to World in Union followed by a carousel
of point scoring activities with races to finish off.
Everyone had a chance to excel and show off their
Olympic potential including our mums, dads, toddlers,
grandparents and staff. An enormous thank you to Miss
Mason, Rachel Page and Jade Megalti (Year 10 work
experience students) for organising the events and to
everyone who helped set up. Thanks go to the FoBVPS
for the much needed refreshments and to our visiting
Grandparents for giving out the medals. Well done to the
Green TeamGreen TeamGreen TeamGreen Team for winning the overall competition.
Bolnore Village Fete: Sunday 17 July, 2011 Bolnore Village Primary School will be attending the fete again this year. We
will be performing dances and running a Tombola Stall to raise money for
school funds. We will put a tombola collection table in the playground for any
donations for the stall (no alcohol please) in the week 11 July to 15 July.
Please come along to the fete and support us. See you there! We’re busy
making things in Forest School to sell at the fete too! Everyone needs a
mallet!
