How It Works:

As a person ages, the rate of skin cell renewal slows down and the body is less able to efficiently slough

away dead skin cells. As a result, skin appears rough, dry and often even opaque, without the soft

suppleness of hydrated, youthful skin. On average, skin replaces itself every 30 days in young people

and every 60 days in older adults. Routinely exfoliating the dead cells will help accelerate the cellular

renewal process.

Each ingredient in these new scrubs has been chosen for its unique function. Our organic sugar is the

perfect exfoliating agent. In addition to the scrubbing effect, it is also a source of natural alpha-hydroxy

and glycolic acids. Shea butter is widely known for its soothing and skin protection properties, containing

high amounts of beneficial fatty acids as well vitamins A and E. Virgin coconut oil contains high

Sugar, Not Salt…

Sugar scrubs are gentler and more hydrating than their salt scrub counterparts. The granules are softer

and rounder, therefore less abrasive on the skin, making sugar scrubs more versatile. Their ability to

hydrate and protect is beneficial for all skin types, including sensitive and acne prone skin. Unlike salt

scrubs, sugar scrubs are less likely to cause irritation and are better as full-body scrubs.
