. Hi to members and friends

The last newsletter of the 2017- 2018 financial year. It has been a year of all good not much

bad with our last 2 runs being the Boonah and the Sunshine Coasts shows and we as a

club put on what I can only say was only fantastic.

There are a lot people to thank firstly the owner drivers for turning up in numbers and the

helpers who made the events such a success. The ones who drove the push cars and then

went on to do flags, Gavin Sneddon what can you say, a new member was doing things

before you even thought to ask, thanks mate.

Then on to the people who put every thing into it to make sure all went to plan, Brian Farley

I am surprised he has any hair left what a great job as Chief Steward and the person who

organised the event procedure well done Brian the club could not do it without you.

Last but not least Trevor Watts the trimmer this guy would talk under water with a mouth full

of ball bearings, Trevor did the on field commentary at both shows and mentioned all drivers

and cars to the public even throwing in the odd joke here and there thank god they were

clean.

As this is the last newsletter for the financial year I would like to thank all those who helped

out to make my job a little easier especially my wife Dianne who has had to put up with my

ravings and ranting at times, thank you.

On a sadder note there are quite a few people who are no longer with us anymore and this

why we need the younger generation to get involved and keep what we have started

moving forward into the future for all to appreciate speedway of past years.
