night.2. Booster Club – Terry Dhuy – Booster Club president. We will continue to connect with the

Superintendent and the new AD. We would like to purchase portable dugouts for soccer,softball and field hockey. Will be at the Meet the Coaches meeting next week. We want toservice more athletes, but we need more members. Would like to use the football field for moresports again.

3. New Donation Form – Di would like to put this into effect immediately.C. Regular Reports

Susan Gray – Getting up to speed this month. Working on taxes now.Matt Stroup – Prepping for the school year. Kindergarten class is large. Lost several students tohomeschooling due to new immunization law.Rebecca Saggiomo – Asst Principal side of things, we have met with building team and looking atdata and setting goals. Our summer letters and freshman orientation invites going out thisweek. AD – fall sports schedules and transportation schedules are complete. Revamped ourfamily ID site to make it easier for families. Meet the coach’s night is Aug 15 in Candor. Impacttesting started yesterday and again next week. Organizing equipment and uniforms. Meetingwith Candor AD regularly.

3. Superintendent’s Report – We will complete our new policy book in one year. The plan is tosend to Board for approval for first read through as they are done. Entire book will cometogether for second (and final) read through. Smart Schools Bond project, working with DayAutomation – went out for state approval. Exterior work will start next summer. ESSA data –waiting for 3-8 data. Admin will review once it is in. Working on reducing out of schoolsuspensions. Reviewed process for creating new stipend positions. SRO contract has gone to thecounty for approval. Thank you for the Candor/SVE retreat.

Michele comes to us from Oakton Elementary School (Oakland, VA) where she taught fourth and fifth grade for five years. During this time, Michele instructed across multiple content areas while focusing on building relationships and teaching different communication and critical thinking skills. Michele was a nominee for the 2018 Outstanding Teacher of the Year FCPS Award and received the 2018 FCPS Cares Award.
