SOCIALMEDIA
SOCIALMEDIASUMMARY
In November we continued our Holiday campaign and our integrated content marketing strategy. This created significant increases in our social media KPIs, including: • 459% increase in social traffic• 85% increase in clicks through to partner websites from social traffic• 8% increase in Instagram followers• 15% increase in blog users
SOCIALMEDIAKPI’S
• With an increase in the budget from last month, we were able to be more efficient and increase sessions by 341%.
• Our domestic account saw an increase in engagement by 211%.
• The top post on Nov. 9 about the Christmas Parade is the reason for the increase in comments as it had over 800 comments.
• In November, we continued to promote Instagram posts and stories leading to a jump in followers. Over the last few months, we have normally averaged around a 1-2% increase in followers each month, while we saw an increase of 8% this month.
• Having our campaigns run throughout the entire month has allowed the rest of our numbers to increase as well. This also leads to an increase in sessions year over year.
• The decrease in Instagram Story Impressions was directly related to the total number of stories.
• In November, we saw an increase in referral traffic from Pinterest due to our paid campaigns.
• As we decreased the number of Pins this month, we saw our engagement numbers decrease as well.
• The top landing page was the home page as it was the page directed to from our our paid infographic about Three Ways to Experience Eco-Tourism.
BLOG
• Organic Search is our number one driver of traffic to blog pages. SeaWorld's All Day Dining continues to be a top driving blog with 96% of its traffic coming from organic.
• People who come through Search Engines are landing on a multitude of blogs, with 36% of traffic going to blogs outside the top 5.This is a good indicator that we are ranking for multiple topics and multiple blogs for Search.
• Instagram Worthy Kissimmee Treats and 36 hours Family Fun drove the most traffic from Social Media.
