Rules & Regulations for Recreation Programming
Release of Liability: Participants in the recreation program are hereby notified that because of the nature of the activities, the risk of injury cannot totally be eliminated. Skamania County assumes no liability for injuries incurred during participation and provides no insurance coverage for such injuries. Participation in programs is at the participants’ own risk.
Pre-Registration: Register Now! Classes have limited enrollment and are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Thank you for pre-registering. It provides information instructors use to prepare for their
classes. Class Sizes: Minimum and Maximum numbers of participants per class are established in an
attempt to provide quality activities. Your place in the class cannot be guaranteed unless you pre-register and make a payment.
Class Cancellations: Cancellations are provided to registered participants as soon as the General Services Department is made aware. Please visit our website at www.skamaniacountyparks.com for up to date information and class schedules.
Refunds: Refunds must be requested prior to the first day of class. Once a class or session has begun, no refunds will be made available without the consent of the Director. If a refund is approved, please allow six to eight weeks for processing. Inquire for further information.
Martial Arts Traditional Shotokan Karate
This style of karate focuses on increasing self
confidence, discipline, and fitness as defensive skills are
established. Instructor Bob Hagan has over 30 years of
martial arts experience and is a third degree black belt .

Cost: $40 per month
Tae Kwon Do This class offers the opportunity to learn self defense based on the traditional style of Tae Kwon Do. Students receive a solid foundation of the basic kicks, hand strikes, blocks, and sparring while developing courage, confidence, self-discipline and having fun. Adults and youth are invited to start at any time.

Tai Chi -Yang This Chinese martial art form emphasizes health and
relaxation, and result s in improved posture, balance,
