GREENLEAF HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTIONS MEETING MEETING CALLED TO ORDER 7:10 PM JANUARY 5, 2012 AT 1600 STREAMWOOD DR _____________________________________________________________________________________ Members in attendance: Julie Winsor, Sharon Hall & Barb Kennedy Absent: Jansi Garner ___________________________________________________________________ AGENDA 1. Landscaping Services 2. Pool Improvements 3. Finances ______________________________________________________________________________ 1. First Agenda item: The board discussed as to when we should let the new landscaper, When Nature Calls, commence service. Decision was made that February 1, 2012 would be the starting date. Barb Kennedy is to send a letter to him and a signed contract to start on that date. ______________________________________________________________________________ 2. Second Agenda item: A letter from the board to all members regarding the update of the pool and a special assessment meeting is to be held to discuss the same n January 21, 2012 at 10:00 at the West Cobb Church. If we have enough signatures, we can have the work done perhaps sometime starting in February of 2012. ______________________________________________________________________________ 3. Third Agenda item: The special assessment for the pool repairs will be as follows: We discussed that we have at least $10, 915.72 in savings and that it would be easier on the members to come up with a onetime assessment of $54 to be paid on June 1, 2012 this would be half the money from the members and the other half from the HOA savings to make the total payment of $10,100 for the improvements of the pool. We also discussed as to what is to be done when a member is late with payment and the attorney has sent a letter. We were advised by the attorney that once the letter has gone out

Misc. discussions: We mentioned the new mailbox at the pool which was installed because the old one was very unstable and was leaking. We had a new one installed with a new pole that does not have to be painted. We all liked that idea and will bring it up again and perhaps change the pole to one that is maintenance free. The meeting was adjourned.
