Following is a list of the business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the above
mentioned meeting. The Board of Education may discuss, make motions and vote upon all
matters appearing on this Agenda. Such votes may be to adopt, reject, table, reaffirm, rescind,
or take no action on any Agenda matter.

II. Consent Agenda:
All of the following items, which concern reports and items of a routine nature
normally approved at a board meeting, will be approved by one vote unless any
board member desires to have a separate vote on any or all of these items. The
consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration, and approval of the
following items:
A. Approval of the agenda
B. Vote to approve Minutes of the July 11, 2016, Regular Board Meeting.
C. Vote to approve the Financial Statement for the 2015-16 school year as required by
Oklahoma Statutes, Title 70-5-135.2.

G. Vote to approve final blanket position salary reserves report for 2015-16.
H. Vote to approve blanket position salary reserves report for 2016-17.
I. Vote to approve Section 125 Plan Administration by American Fidelity Assurance
Company for CY2017.
J. Vote to approve the 2016-2017 Internal Activities Review Committee.
K. Vote to approve revision of the funding source for the FY17 renewal of Gas Supply
agreement with Constellation as a third party natural gas provider used at various Mid-Del
sites that was approved on May 9, 2016. It was Board approved to be paid from General
Fund 11 and/or Building Fund 21. The revision requested is the expenditure to be paid
from General Fund 11 and/or Building Fund 21 and MDTC Fund 23.
L. Vote to approve sanctioning applications from school activity funds for FY 2016-17.
M. Vote to approve out-of-state or overnight travel requests:
1. Revision of travel dates for the Midwest City football team to travel to the Southwest
Elite 7 on 7 football camp in Springdale, AR. This was Board approved at the May 9,
2016, Board meeting to travel on July 15-16, 2016. The team was notified that they
were placed on the schedule to play a day earlier than expected, so therefore we are
asking to revise the travel dates to include leaving on July 14, 2016. Confirmation
2. Del City High School Student Council, Key Club, NHS, Senior and Junior Class to
attend Oakridge Retreat Center in Anadarko, OK, on September 2-4, 2016. Expenses
to be paid for by School Activity Funds, Student Council, Project Code 869;
Sanctioned Organization Funds; personal funds and donations.
3. Forrest Doshier, MDTC, to attend the Conduct SafeLand USA training for Enterprise
Crude Oil, LLC in Bowie, TX, on five various days TBD between September 19 and
November 30, 2016. All expenses to be paid by Enterprise Crude Oil.
4. Midwest City High School Softball team to attend a softball tournament in Broken
Arrow, OK, on August 12-13, 2016. Expenses to be paid by Sanctioned Organization
Funds, personal funds and donations.

A. Purchase Boardworks 9-12 Education Suite for Del City High School. The total
cost is $20,739.00 to be paid by Del City High School Title I funds, Project Code
511.
B. Purchase six SMART Boards including installation from Video Reality for
Parkview Elementary in the amount of $29,197.24 to be paid from Bond Fund

33/LR07. The SMART Boards will be installed in each one of the six classrooms
that are part of the Safe Room at Parkview Elementary. The SMART Boards are
included in the state contract.
VI. Vote to approve or not approve the Mid-Del Technology Center SWAPS Alternative

X. Vote to approve or not approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between
Mid-Del Public Schools and the Vietnam Memorial Project Committee, the Class of
1964 Museum Project Committee and the Midwest City High School Museum, Inc.
This MOU will establish cooperation between the above mentioned parties for
accomplishing various modernizing construction and technological projects in and
around the Midwest City High School Museum, at no additional cost to Mid-Del
Public Schools and shall be effective August 8, 2016, through June 30, 2017,
renewable up to five subsequent years. – Mr. Bryan
XI. Maintenance: – Mr. Bryan
A. Vote to approve or not approve Amendments 16-20 to the Guaranteed Maximum
Price Contract with CMSWillowbrook for construction management services to
provide double-door entryways, intercom & camera surveillance capability, “911”
emergency buzzers and various other improvements, at the following sites, as part
of the Bond 34 “Safety & Security” Projects (Series 3):
1. Monroney Middle School (Amendment No. 16): Total cost of construction in
the amount of $220,472.27 to be paid from Bond Fund 34.
2. Jarman Middle School (Amendment No. 17): Total cost of construction in the
amount of $249,204.80 to be paid from Bond Fund 34.
3. Kerr Middle School (Amendment No. 18): Total cost of construction in the
amount of $257,429.43 to be paid from Bond Fund 34.
4. Del Crest Middle School (Amendment No. 19): Total cost of construction in the
amount of $265,225.92 to be paid from Bond Fund 34.

5. Del City High School (Amendment No. 20): Total cost of construction in the
amount of $258,786.88 to be paid from Bond Fund 34.
XII. Vote to approve or not approve Globe Construction Co. for the 2016 Warehouse
Freezer Replacement Project for a total construction cost of $378,000.00. Expenditure
to be paid from Bond Fund 33, Lease Revenue (LR07), Project Code 099 and Child
Nutrition Fund 22, Project Code 764. – Mr. Bryan
XIII. Vote to approve or not approve Hellas Construction, Inc. for services to restore the
substrate materials on various football fields located throughout the district. Services to
include deep cleaning, de-compacting and redistribution of rubber infill on five
practice/game fields for a total project cost of $19,000.00. Hellas, as the current warranty
holder on the below-mentioned turf systems, functions as a sole source vendor for these
services. Restoration shall take place at the following locations: – Mr. Bryan
1. Carl Albert High School practice football field and Harris Football Field.
2. Midwest City High School practice football field and Rose Football Field.
3. Del City High School Kalsu Football Field.
All expenditures above to be paid from Bond Fund 33, Project Code 099.
XIV. Human Resources: – Mr. Mendenhall
A. Vote to approve or not approve all employment actions recommended in the Human
Resources Report which follows the Agenda:
