pick up the scent of prey.• These snakes live in hot tropical places and
can be found on the ground and in trees.• The biggest one found was about 5.5 metres
long. • They are nocturnal

• They mostly eat rats and birds and mice.• Boas live in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica,
Panama, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname and Brazil.
• They are afraid of eagles, jaguars and crocodiles.
• Boa constrictors are green, yellow, black, brown.
