THE NEW PINE HILL RAMBLERS will play bluegrass music in The Museum of Modern Art's
SUMMERGARDEN at 8 PM, Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7. Free admission is through the
Sculpture Garden gate at 8 West 54 Street.
The New Pine Hill Ramblers are Joanne Dee (guitar), Steve Block (bass), Bill DeTurk
(banjo and fiddle), Louise Evers (guitar), and Dave Magram (mandolin, banjo and guitar).
The group frequently appears at major New York and New Jersey bluegrass clubs, in concert
through The Bluegrass Club of New York, and at area colleges. They have performed on
WBAI's annual "Country Fiddling" show.
A grant from Mobil Oil Corporation enables The Museum of Modern Art to open its Sculpture Garden free to the public on weekend evenings as SUMMERGARDEN. Entrance is through the Garden gate at 8 West 54 Street from 6 PM to 10 PM every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, through September 28. Informal entertainment is presented at 8 PM every Friday and Saturday.
