HEADQUARTERS

Our new headquarters radiate positivity. Steps from the sand in Surf City USA, our office hosts training seminars and events for customers and partners worldwide. We generate so much business within these walls, it’s literally buzzing with energy. Visitors marvel at this vitality and the surfboard racks and beach cruisers parked at the entrance. They can clearly see we use them daily. We have post-surf, outdoor showers, an on-site daycare facility, and countless gyms nearby. We subsidize healthy lunches and snacks to promote well-being. The Blue Street Capital headquarters are viewed as one of the most desirable workspaces in Orange County.

In addition to our headquarters complex, we have regional offices run by V.P.’s and G.M.’s throughout the United States. Each of these satellite offices has a growing team to support new partners and customers with our signature attention. And, each office enjoys the same culture and sports the racks—ski, golf club, bike, whatever—to prove it. (Blue Street Capital training and meeting rooms are all named after sports.) There are no cubicles in any of our workspaces; the floorplans are open to connect all faces of our business. Leadership and managers sit alongside teammates to encourage collaboration, spontaneous brainstorming, and constant communication. We do not lead behind walls.

The most important room at headquarters is called the “Think Tank.” This is a quiet room where people can go to rest in “nap pods” or think and write without interruption. Cell phones are not permitted. We frequently host educational and motivational speakers in our state-of-the-art media room… in between video-game tournaments. And our amazing training room, a.k.a. the “Green Room,” is not only geared to internal training sessions but to our partners as well who frequently host training events for vendors and solution-providers from all over the world.

Every Friday, we offer tours of our unique work environment for the curious; this weekly tour has created more partnerships and garnered more employees than sales, marketing, and advertising combined.

And, needless to say, informal social events and parties are a staple at our Blue Street campus.

Our finance team is committed to our company’s financial health, viability and future. It is because of their expertise that we have been able to successfully navigate our growth and grow our portfolio. We have fully integrated our accounting systems so that once a document package is complete, the funding transmittal is produced and uploaded into our accounting systems without human involvement. Blue Street Capital is as fully automated in every aspect of the business and is constantly focused on maintaining this automation to its competitive advantage.

Operations and Technology

Change is good. We are constantly brainstorming ways to increase efficiency, maximize potential, and think ahead. Our technology platforms are truly cutting-edge. We partner with Salesforce.com and frequently are engaged by them and others in related fields to speak at their conferences on best practices. We are a “one touch” shop. Transactional write ups are drawing much of the information from our systems and we are on a cadence of credit applications submitted and decisioned within hours of receipt from sales people.

Customer service improvements run apace with our other platforms. We respond to client inquiries within minutes and if we can’t solve the query immediately we commit to a clear time frame for resolution. We are fanatical with customer- and partner-service and follow up. Transactional documentation is fully integrated into our CRM and completing 100% accurate funding documents is a push of a button with the final package ready for signature. We remain passionate about streamlining operations to ensure we are leveraging technology to the extent possible.

We employ third-party billing and collecting for our financial partners’ portfolios. This gives us data on how our overall portfolio is performing and we regularly use that to show the quality of the transactions that we originate. We have perfected rapid customer onboarding, engagement, and integration processes. Our website has evolved with the industry. We embrace change and have a clearly defined IT budget plan. Technology is considered a true core competency and differentiation point in our business. Our technology drives and supports our sales process.

SALES

Our sales team dominates. Our dedication to hiring and keeping “A Players” who are team-oriented has paid off overwhelmingly. They are true consultants. Our sales staff is frequently engaged by our partners to help solve some of our biggest business challenges, from financing but also training, hiring and other strategic initiatives.

We invest in our sales employees by holding PSS sales training with quarterly updates, monthly third-party training sessions that focus specifically on the vendor-driven model, and macroeconomic learning sessions to guarantee that our employees are able to meaningfully engage at any “C” level with our customers and partners. In turn, we share our sales training programs with our vendors and partners.

We have a host of other business services that have stemmed from core competencies and we have become proficient in creating value for our partners. This ranges from HR, recruiting, to lead generation and operational efficiencies. We work diligently with the salesperson to provide earning transactions for learning and will invest in their growth as a business person and a professional.
