1. Bambalamb!Translated “The Impact of the Lamb” or Bam528, the frequency which he lives! Bam had a remarkable music history and has shared the stage with: Issac Hayes, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus, Peter Appleyard, Carol Welsman, Cecil Doo-Kingue, Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar, Our Lady Peace, and many more over the last 35 years as a session and studio musician.

2. John Limoges Local singer-songwriter John Limoges uses a strong voice to perform original songs and a variety of song covers including rock, folk, and country. As a high school vice principal, John is very active in encouraging students to explore and share their musical talents. John is very excited to be playing the Guitar Trail again this year.

3. Chantal Preston Singer-songwriter Chantal Preston started writing poems and short stories at a young age and when she asked for a guitar on her 16th birthday she began writing songs. She currently plays as a solo act and in a duo with jazz guitarist Keith Boddy. In late October. Chantal released her first EP titled Call You Later, featuring her single, “Just Wing It”, available on iTunes.

4. Pat Maloney Pat Maloney is a Canadian songwriter, storyteller, and a serious whistler. He’s a concerned citizen, with a busted acoustic guitar and a fake bass drum. He’s a too-tall, Ottawa ex-pat, singing songs as meaningful as he can muster, with a healthy, self-defaming sense of humor. In three short years, he has released three full-length albums, and a dozen “art project” style stop-motion animated music videos.

5. Greg Smith Greg Smith writes songs with entire life stories wrapped inside and delivers them with the eye of a cinematographer. Known for in-depth song cycles and inventive guitar work, a Greg Smith concert mixes the best parts of reading a favourite book and a folkie serenade.

6. David Stone A singer-songwriter, and musician born and raised in the Georgian Triangle. He draws from a range of influences, with a unique style of story-telling by means of heartfelt folky-pop/rock songs.

7. Ian Raeburn Ian Raeburn is an emerging singer-songwriter hailing from the Collingwood, ON area! He has made a mark locally with his hit song ‘Georgian Bay’, which has been featured on local radio stations and on CBC radio. He released his self-titled EP in December 2016, and he continues to write music and gig around Southern Ontario.

8. Dave LoopstraDave Loopstra is a guitar and banjo player best known for whimsical comedy lyrics describing why he quit Facebook, why he sometimes wishes his name was Randy, or what he does when at home when his wife has taken his kids to karate lessons (hint: laundry, dishes, recycling and picking up Lego). Before this recent foray into live performances, Dave created Our Homes magazine, and grew it across Canada in 17 locations before selling the whole business in 2015 to focus on creative pursuits.

9. Jeff Cunningham Come experience the magnificent music of Jeff Cunningham, a local musician who will WOW you with his talented guitar playing and vocals. Jeff has been performing in the Georgian Bay area for several years and his ability to cover your rock alternative favourites is second to none. We are excited to have Jeff joining us again for this year’s Guitar Trail.

10. Jasmin Millar Born and raised in Collingwood. Jasmin pulls you in with her soft tones and meaningful messages. Long before graduating from Seneca College’s Independent Music Production program, the multi- instrumentalist learned to have fun with music by enjoying her father’s musical and comedic talents. Jasmin will be performing a mix of much-loved popular covers and a set of her original tunes as well.

11. Jason Redman Jason Redman is a professional entertain-er from Collingwood. He has amassed a couple decades of experience performing at weddings, private and corporate events, bars and pubs, as well as festivals and theaters. Working as a solo act or with his various bands, he has most entertainment needs covered. If you’re looking for rock, blues, easy listening, pub-style acoustic sing-a-longs or country music, you’ve come the right place.

12. Aaron Garner Aaron Garner’s musical career begin 20 years ago leading him to perform with award-winning masters of their craft, blues legends, and Canadian rock music stars.

13. Beinn Gorm Highlanders 1 2 : 5 0 P M - 1 : 5 0 P M ) A fun and dedicated group of hobby musicians dedicated to the preservation and continuation of Scottish piping and drumming and to providing the community and area with a resource for a wide variety of public and private functions including the teaching of piping and drumming techniques to people of all ages.

14. Chris Scerri & Jon Zaslow Performing on the C&A patio Chris Scerri and Jon Zaslow bring an acoustic feel to classic rock, blues and pop music. Harmonies and two acoustic guitars create the perfect sound.

15. Drew McIvor With his trusty six-string, this charismatic crooner delivers with a masterful simplicity, inviting audiences not only to listen but truly share the musical experience. Elements of acoustic pop, folk, world, soul and jazz are interwoven into a tapestry of intelligent, catchy tunes that fit like your favourite jeans, and soothe like a warm summer breeze. Drew has just completed his second full length album Through the Tangle of Trees.

16. Mark Danby & Dennis Sloan Mark and Dennis are the World’s Greatest OK Guitarists. Both are current residents of Collingwood with roots in the local skiing community. Their ok guitar noodlings are guaranteed to delight all manner of outdoor trail enthusiasts as well as resident flora and fauna.

7. Shane Cloutier Local musician and music teacher and owner of Cloutier music school, Shane Cloutier is currently releasing an album with his band Odd Clue. He brings a mix of covers and original material in styles of blues, pop, folk, rock and his own unmistakable sound.

18. Marie Swidersky Marie plays piano and guitar and writes and sings her own love songs. Long-time local and owner of The Olde Stanton Store, Happy Valley Candy and Go Fish Go in the Village.

19. Erica and Mike McCarthy Erica and Mike McCarthy are a high energy country rock duo that are noted for their exciting and dynamic live performances, bringing fans back wherever they play.

20. Tony Karol - Luthier A guitar player since the age of 12, Tony Karol’s passion for music, and love of the beauty of wood led to building his first guitar in high school. Tony has funneled that passion into creating instruments that stir the soul and soothe the senses. Building a limited number of performance grade acoustics, baritones and harp guitars in his Mississauga, Ontario shop each year, he also mentors future builders with classes on guitar construction. Using the finest materials, innovative techniques, and custom designs, Tony’s sonic creations are enjoyed by many including Bruce Cockburn, Tommy Emmanuel and Stephen Bennett.

21. Joe Rockman Guitar Trail Creative Consultant - Interactive Bass StationExplore the essential musical role of the Bass while Joe plays along with “Jeff Healey Band” tracks, and assorted other Guitar Masters. Bring your guitar or bass and jam with Joe one on one for an exclusive mini master class; where he’ll demonstrate tricks, technique and short cuts he employed playing with Jeff, and beyond. Listen to captivating stories from touring the world and performing with BB King, Allman Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Randy Bachman etc. A bass is also provided. Joe Rockman is the 2x Grammy Nominee and Juno winning founding Bassist of the legendary Jeff Healey Band. Co-manager with Jeff and other Artists garnering sales of over 15 million units. Featured in Cult Classic Film “Road House.” Classically trained with Royal Conservatory and studied Jazz at York University. Studied Musical Theatre with Oscar winner Jan Rubes - a local to the area.

22. Craig Smith - Music Production Techniques and TechnologyCraig Smith is a music producer, recording engineer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has performed internationally as a solo artist and released 3 solo albums (most recently, Frozen Light, 2017). However, most days you’ll find Smith working with artists in his studio Mad River Recording. He’ll be demonstrating the recording process and answering questions.

25. KIM MITCHELLCanadian Rock icon Kim Mitchell has sung those lines from his personal mission statement, “Rock N Roll Duty” for decades now and he’s still doing exactly that, creative energy and enthusiasm fully intact. Today, Mitchell and his band of accomplished musicians continue to tour the country selling out theatres, casinos and festivals coast to coast. Live audiences, which continue to grow and are comprised of newer fans in their late teens and early twenties through to fans that have been following him since the late seventies are thrilled to find that participating in a Kim Mitchell concert is like being at the live recording of a greatest hits box set which includes his solo hits and regularly Max Webster gems like “Diamonds Diamonds” and “High Class in Borrowed Shoes”. Each night they get to see a guitar player who has always been and continues to evolve into of one of the most interesting and innovative rock guitar players in the business today.

Recently Mitchell has started on his first solo recording in half a dozen years. He has been working with producer and friend, Greg Wells (multi- instrumentalist, songwriter and producer for artists such as Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Twenty- aOne Pilots, and Adele.) They are working towards a full new album release for spring time 2018.
